Who is behind a domain and when does it expire?
Enter a domain to see its registrar, status, registration and expiry dates and nameservers. The query goes straight to the registry over RDAP, and we never show owner details.
Look up any domain.
Note: the .hr registry (CARNET) does not offer public RDAP, so for .hr we try classic WHOIS. If that does not answer either, you get a clear message rather than a guess.
How to read the result.
- Registrar
- The company the domain is registered with. That is where nameservers are changed and the EPP code for a transfer is requested.
- Status
- EPP statuses such as clientTransferProhibited mean the domain is locked against transfer. That is a normal safeguard and is unlocked at the registrar.
- Expiry
- The date the domain is paid until. If it is not renewed in time, it can become available to others after a grace period.
- Nameservers
- The servers that answer DNS queries for the domain. For hosting with us, use: rea.scyhost.com, zara.scyhost.com, roki.scyhost.com, luna.scyhost.com
- DNSSEC
- Shows whether the domain’s DNS answers are cryptographically signed.
