How to point your domain to ScyHost
A domain registered elsewhere is pointed to our hosting by changing its nameservers at the registrar.
- Log in at your registrar
Open the account where you registered the domain and find the domain management page. - Find the nameserver settings
Look for an option called Nameservers, DNS or Custom nameservers. - Enter our nameservers
Replace the existing nameservers with these:rea.scyhost.comzara.scyhost.comroki.scyhost.comluna.scyhost.com - Save and wait
The change usually shows within a few hours and at the latest within 48 hours. Until then the site may load from the old or the new server. - Check SSL
Once the domain points to us, AutoSSL issues the certificate by itself. You can check it with our tool.
TipIf you already have a live site or email at an old host, change nameservers only once everything has been moved. The free migration makes sure the switch happens without losing email.
