AutoSSL issues free certificates by itself. Here is how to check it works and how to send every visitor to HTTPS.
- Wait until the domain points to us
AutoSSL issues the certificate once the domain’s DNS points to our server. See pointing your domain. - Check the certificate
Enter the domain in the SSL checker — you’ll see the issuer and expiry date. - Enable the HTTPS redirect
In cPanel open Domains and enable Force HTTPS Redirect for your domain. - WordPress addresses
In WordPress under Settings → General set both addresses tohttps://.
TipIf the browser reports “mixed content”, an image or script is still loading over http://. Update those addresses to https://.
