We want everyone to be able to use scyhost.com, including people who use a screen reader, only a keyboard, magnification or custom display settings. This statement describes our target, what we have done, what does not yet work as it should, and how to tell us.
Target
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2, level AA. We have reviewed the site ourselves; we have not yet had an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance. The site is partially conformant.
What we have done
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- The page language is marked in the code, and the content is available in several languages.
- The main and mobile menus, breadcrumbs and link groups have descriptive labels for screen readers.
- A visible focus outline for keyboard navigation.
- Form fields have visible labels, and success and error messages are announced to screen readers.
- Light and dark themes; the default follows your system setting.
- If reduced motion is turned on in your system (prefers-reduced-motion), animations, smooth scrolling and scroll effects are switched off.
- Icons are decorative and hidden from screen readers; the text next to them carries the meaning.
- There are no third-party advertising or analytics scripts on the site.
Known limitations
- 3D background and animations. On larger screens an animated 3D scene (WebGL) is shown behind the content, and elements appear as you scroll. With reduced motion turned on the animations stop, but on slower devices the scene can make the page sluggish.
- Contrast on glass cards. Some smaller grey text over translucent backgrounds may fall below a 4.5:1 contrast ratio in places.
- Translations. The Croatian and English versions are complete; in other languages some text (for example blog posts) is shown in English.
- AI tools. Answers are generated and can be long; the website builder shows its result in a preview frame that screen readers treat as a separate document.
- Payment. The payment form is loaded by PayPal, and PayPal is responsible for its accessibility.
- Portals. This statement covers scyhost.com. We are checking the client portal, support portal and documentation against the same target step by step.
Report a problem
If you can’t read, open or fill in something, tell us the page address, what you tried to do and which assistive technology you use (if any). We answer every report and, where possible, send you the content you need in an accessible form.
- Email: support@scyhost.com (subject “Accessibility”)
- The contact form or a support ticket
How this statement was prepared
This statement is based on our own review: keyboard-only navigation, checking the heading and label structure, viewing on a 390-pixel-wide screen, and using the site with reduced motion turned on. We update it when we change the site or fix the limitations listed here.
