scyhost. How to install WordPress
WordPress installs in a few clicks — from WP Toolkit in the WordPress plans or from the app installer in the web plans.
- Log in to cPanel
Open cPanel through the client portal or athttps://cpanel.yourdomain.com. - Start the installation
In the WordPress plans open WP Toolkit and click Install. In the web plans pick WordPress in the Applications section. - Choose domain and details
Choose the domain (leave the directory field empty to install in the root), enter the site title and a unique admin username and a strong password. - Install
Confirm the installation and wait a few moments. You can open the admin area atyourdomain.com/wp-admin. - First steps
Update themes and plugins, choose “Post name” in Settings → Permalinks and install LiteSpeed Cache.
TipDon’t use “admin” as the username and delete unused plugins and themes — most attacks target outdated plugins.
