How to change the PHP version

You can choose a different PHP version for each domain — useful for older applications or for better performance.

  1. Open MultiPHP Manager
In cPanel, in the Software section, click MultiPHP Manager.
  2. Select the domain
Tick the domain whose version you want to change.
  3. Choose the version
Pick a version from the drop-down (the default is PHP 8.3) and click Apply.
  4. Adjust settings
In MultiPHP INI Editor you can change e.g. memory_limit and upload_max_filesize.
  5. Test
Open the site and check all important parts. If something breaks, switch back to the previous version.
TipBefore moving to a new version make a backup and update plugins and themes to the latest.
