Most incidents come from weak passwords and outdated plugins. Five habits that prevent that.
- Strong, unique password
Use a long password (generator in cPanel) that you don’t use anywhere else; ideally with a password manager. - Two-factor authentication
In cPanel open Security → Two-Factor Authentication and link an authenticator app. - Keep it updated
Update WordPress, themes and plugins regularly and delete anything you don’t use. - Make backups
